The University of Illinois Springfield men's golf team finished tied for 11th at the three-day Greyhound Invitational, hosted by Indianapolis.

The Prairie Stars had their best round at the event on Sunday with a 293, and followed that up with rounds of 300 and 299. Their 892 total tied with Wayne State, and was just ahead of GLVC rivals Drury, Indianapolis, and Lewis.

Daniel Miller led UIS during the tournament, and was 33rd overall, with a three-day total of 221. After a 79 on round one, he bounced back with a two-under 70 on Monday, and an even-par round on Tuesday. He finished the tournament in the top-five with 12 birdies.

Daniel Nyman was second on the team with a score of 224. His best round was an even-par 72 on Sunday, including an eagle on the par-four, 373-yard first hole.
Jaime Kreisler also shot even par on Sunday, and finished with a finals score of 225.
Steffen Heckele shot a 229, and
Louis Bagur carded a 231 for the tournament.
