The 30th edition of the University of Illinois Springfield and McKendree men's basketball rivalry will take place at 3 p.m. this Saturday in Lebanon, Ill.

The game is a big one for both teams as they look to get back into the race for a GLVC Tournament spot with just three games remaining in the regular season. UIS is currently ninth in the GLVC Point Rating System, one spot above McKendree.

UIS will enter the game with a 13-12 overall record, and a 6-9 conference mark. McKendree is 9-15 on the year and 5-10 in GLVC games.

Earlier this season, McKendree defeated the Prairie Stars by a 77-75 margin in Springfield, Ill. A last second three-pointer by UIS was just off the mark.
