The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team will be home for the final time in over three weeks this Saturday when the Prairie Stars take on Indianapolis at 3 p.m. at TRAC.
UIS is currently sixth in the GLVC standings with a 6-4 mark, while Indianapolis is second with a 7-2 conference record.
Last Thursday, the Prairie Stars lost a close game to Lewis by a 78-73 margin. The Greyhounds were at McKendree and won by an 86-62 score.
Three-point shooting could be the difference in the game. Both teams average over eight three-pointers a game. Defensively, UIS and Indianapolis are in the top-five in the GLVC in three-point field-goal percentage.
