Men's Basketball Hosts Indianapolis On Saturday On Military Appreciation Day

The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team will be home for the final time in over three weeks this Saturday when the Prairie Stars take on Indianapolis at 3 p.m. at TRAC.

UIS is currently sixth in the GLVC standings with a 6-4 mark, while Indianapolis is second with a 7-2 conference record.

Last Thursday, the Prairie Stars lost a close game to Lewis by a 78-73 margin. The Greyhounds were at McKendree and won by an 86-62 score.

Three-point shooting could be the difference in the game. Both teams average over eight three-pointers a game. Defensively, UIS and Indianapolis are in the top-five in the GLVC in three-point field-goal percentage.
