The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team starts the most challenging part of its schedule this Thursday when it hosts Lewis for a 7:30 p.m. at TRAC.

The Prairie Stars are on pace for their best season since 2008-09, but will have a tough final five weeks of the season, starting with Thursday's game. Lewis is averaging 93 points over the last two weeks.

Both UIS and Lewis won by three points last Saturday. The Prairie Stars were on the road and defeated Quincy by an 80-77 mark. Lewis won at home 73-70 against Rockhurst.

Lewis leads the all-time series by a 14-3 margin, including a 4-2 mark at TRAC.
