The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team hits the road for two games this week. The first contest will be Thursday against Truman.
The Prairie Stars had a strong finish to their homestand by winning their final three games, including an 88-87 come-from-behind win over Drury on Saturday. UIS is currently fourth in the GLVC point ratings.
UIS will be facing a Truman program that started GLVC play with three straight wins, but has dropped its last five. Last Saturday, the Bulldogs fell at home to Maryville by an 85-78 margin. Truman is currently seventh in the point ratings.Â
Truman has a 5-1 all-time series lead against UIS, including an 86-47 victory last year in Kirksville.
