The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team has two games left in its six-game homestand, starting with Thursday's 7:30 p.m. tilt against Missouri S&T.

The Prairie Stars earned their tenth win of the season last Saturday with an 81-70 victory over Maryville. The Prairie Stars went on a 20-4 run to finish off the season sweep over the Saints.

Missouri S&T is looking to snap a 10-game losing streak, including losses in all four of its GLVC games. Last time out, the Miners fell to Lewis by a 73-58 margin.

UIS leads the all-time series with Missouri S&T by a 9-2 mark, and the Prairie Stars have won six straight. Four of those games, including last year's, have been decided by four points or less.
