SPRINGFIELD, IL - The University of Illinois Springfield (UIS) men's basketball team face off against University of Southern Indiana (USI) and William Jewel College in Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) action this weekend.
 
SETTING THE SCENE
The Prairie Stars welcome USI (19-5, 10-2) on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in TRAC. UIS then goes head-to-head with William Jewell College (17-5, 7-5) on Saturday at 5 p.m.
 
A LOOK AT THE OPPONENTS
The Screaming Eagles are led by Alex Stein averaging 18.5 points, followed by Nate Hansen 13.6. As a team the Eagles average about 80.75 points per game.
The Cardinals Are led by Keith Hayes who is averaging 18.7, who is closely followed by Patrick Whelan who is averaging 18.5. The teams' all-around average is 86.91 points per game.
USI leads against UIS with (3-10), while we lead against William Jewel (5-7).

The Prairie Stars welcome Quincy University next Thursday February 15^th at 7:30pm in TRAC. UIS will travel to the University of Missouri- St. Louis Saturday at 7:30pm.
