SPRINGFIELD, IL --- UIS enters this week having lost two of their last three GLVC conferences games. The Prairie Stars will be on mini road trip this upcoming week. They will be seeking to break this losing streak as the take on the University of Wisconsin-Parkside (15-3, 7-2) and the Flyers of Lewis University (11-8, 6-3).
SETTING THE SCENE
The Prairie Stars (7-11, 2-7) are currently on a two-game losing streak at home this past week, losing to Saint Joseph's College (IN) 76-78 and then losing a nail biter to the University of Indianapolis 67-70. This caused UIS to move down to 7
th in the GLVC east standings.
#25 Wisconsin-Parkside enters the Thursday contest coming off consecutive losses on the road against #12 Southern Indiana (18-1, 8-1) 72-76 and #10 Bellarmine University (16-3, 8-1) 62-82. They dropped two of their last five GLVC contests and they will be looking to break their current losing streak to the visiting Prairie Stars.
Lewis University is currently on a three game losing streak, losing to #25 Wisconsin-Parkside, #10 Bellarmine University, and #12 Southern Indiana in the GLVC conference play. They are currently sitting 5
th in the GLVC east standings. The Flyers are looking for their first win in nearly two weeks.
