SPRINGFIELD, IL --- The Prairie Stars return home after a three-game road trip in which they finished with a 59-53 victory over McKendree University. UIS will now welcome in Saint Joseph's (7-10, 3-4) and the University of Indianapolis (11-6, 5-2) who sit fifth and third in the GLVC east, respectively.
SETTING THE SCENE
UIS enters the weekend having split their last six games, most recently falling in two of their last three, all of which were on the road. A 59-53 win over McKendree on Monday night gave UIS their eighth win of the season and second in conference play, matching their 2015-16 totals with 11 games remaining.
Saint Joseph's comes to Springfield having lost three of their last four games, most recently suffering a 83-44 defeat to UIndy at Banker's Life Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis. Their three conference wins --- UW-Parkside, Maryville, and Missouri S&T --- have a combined conference record of 6-15.
UIndy enters the weekend tied for third in the GLVC east with a 5-2 mark in conference play. The Greyhounds have won four of their last five games, two of which were on the road. Their lone loss was a two-point defeat to #13 Drury.

Syerra Cunningham became the all-time leading rebounder in UIS history, collecting her 626
th career board. She surpassed Elizabeth Kelly and is now the leader in career rebounds and career defensive rebounds. She needs 13 more offensive rebounds to take over in that regard as well.
