Box Score SPRINGFIELD, IL --- The Prairie Stars enter the weekend having won two of their last three games, all of which were Great Lakes Valley Conference contests. Coming home after a three-game road trip, UIS will look to continue its current hot streak as they take on Saint Joseph's (8-9, 2-5) and the University of Indianapolis (8-7, 5-2).

SETTING THE SCENE
Illinois Springfield (7-9, 2-5) is coming off two road wins in the past week, defeating William Jewell 89-85 before taking down McKendree 92-89. All three teams are log jammed in the middle of the GLVC east division, as this weekend proves to play a major role in solidifying teams in the driver's seat for the home stretch.  

Saint Joseph's enters the weekend coming off a 98-75 defeat to the hands of UIndy at Banker's Life Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis. They have dropped three of their last five GLVC games since the New Year and are in the middle of a three-game road swing before going home for seven of their final nine games.

UIndy owns the second longest win streak in the GLVC behind only UW-Parkside who is currently riding a 15-game streak. The Greyhounds have won five straight games, all in conference play, beating UMSL and Maryville on the road before taking down Missouri S&T, Drury, and Saint Joseph's at home.

The Prairie Stars currently have eight players that average at least 14.7 minutes per game. This leads to four players averaging double-figures in points, led by Eddie Longmeyer with 14.6.

Four players have hit at least 17 three's on the year, led by Vince Walker who is 12^th in the league with 2.44 three's per game and has hit 39 on the season.

ALL-TIME HISTORY
UIS is 4-4 against Saint Joseph's since joining the GLVC in 2010. The Puma's won the first four meetings while the Prairie Stars have taken the last four. Both teams have split the series at home and on the road. Through eight games, Saint Joseph's has outscored UIS by just seven --- 650-643.

UIS is winless against UIndy, dating back to their first meeting in 2004. The Prairie Stars are 0-7 against the Greyhounds, most recently suffering a 103-77 defeat on the road last season.

ABOUT SAINT JOSEPH'S
The Puma's are second in the league in scoring, putting in 88.6 points per game, behind only Southern Indiana. However, they rank last in the 16-team league in defensive points per game, surrendering 88.6, giving them a scoring margin of 0.0.

The Puma's have attempted 1,153 shots on the year, the most of any team in the GLVC but are also the only team to allow their opponents to shoot over 50 percent. ABOUT UINDY
As a team, the Greyhounds average 81.7 points per game, a tic above the Prairie Stars. They also rank third in blocks and steals, turning away 3.60 shots per game as well as forcing 7.07 turnovers per game.
