Jane Carter continued her strong play as she took down Kim Birenbaum in the No. 1 singles spots to help the University of Illinois Springfield women's tennis team grab a point from Truman.
Carter won 6-1, 6-3 in singles play. The Bulldogs were too much for the remainder of the matches to take the victory.
UIS closes out its season on Thursday against Knox College at Washington Park. First serve is set for 4 p.m.
