SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The University of Illinois Springfield women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to UMSL on Thursday afternoon at Washington Park.

Freshman Jane Carter competed in the top spot against Lina Parra, but dropped the three-set match 0-6, 6-4, 10-7.

The Prairie Stars are back in action against Lewis & Clark CC on Friday, March 20 at 1 p.m.
