LIBERTY, Mo. - Freshman Jane Carter won all of her matches for the University of Illinois Springfield women's tennis team as the Prairie Stars dropped a 7-2 decision to William Jewell before falling 6-1 to Northwest Missouri State.

In the morning match, Carter paired with Danielle Mendoza to grab a 9-7 win in the No. 1 doubles match. Carter then followed with a shut out victory of Savannah Drew, 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 1 singles position.

Carter then picked up a victory in the top singles spot against Northwest Missouri's Camila Quesada who is ranked No. 50 in the nation, when she fought to a 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 (8) win.

UIS now looks to face UMSL at home on March 12.
