SPRINGFIELD, IL – The University of Illinois Springfield women's soccer team gets ready to take on the Greyhounds of Indianapolis and the Pumas of St. Joseph's this weekend. Game times are set for Friday at 5 p.m. ET and Sunday at 12 p.m., respectively.
Last weekend the Prairie Stars tied with Lewis 0-0 and lost a close game to Wisconsin Parkside 1-0. The team looks to get back in the win column this weekend.
UIS is 3-6-1 this season, just one win shy of the program record. The program record for Great Lakes Valley Conferene wins is three, set back in 2011.
PRAIRIE STARS- The Prairie Stars are 2-4-1 in conference play with a 2-4 record on the road.
- Freshman Karisa Rogers (St. Charles, Mo.) leads the team in goals (3) and points (7).
- Senior Paige Polonus is sixth in the GLVC in saves (52).
