SPRINGFIELD, IL -Â The University of Illinois Springfield women's soccer team is on the road this weekend to take on Truman State and No. 16 Quincy. Game times are set for Friday at 2:30 p.m. and Sunday at 12 p.m., respectively.Â
The Prairie Stars enter the weekend tied for 10th in GLVC play. UIS needs a pair of wins in their final three games to have a shot at the GLVC tournament.Â
QUICK HITS- Freshman Karisa Rogers (St. Charles, Mo.), Junior Nikki Auble (Plainfield, Ill.), and Sophomore Sam Morin (Lake in the Hills, Ill.) lead the Prairie Stars in goals this season (3).
- Senior Paige Polonus (Plainfield, Ill.) leads the GLVC in saves (90) and saves per game (6).
- The Prairie Stars need to win two of their last three games to reach the GLVC tournament. Three teams are currently tied for eighth-place with records of 6-4-2.
