SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - After a dominating win on Saturday, UIS men's basketball returns to action on Tuesday against NAIA opponent St. Catharine at 7 p.m. in TRAC. It is the third straight home game for the Prairie Stars who are 3-0 at home.
HOME SWEET HOMESince The Recreation & Athletic Center opened in 2007, the Prairie Stars own a 64-36 record on their home floor. UIS is 27-16 in the last three years at TRAC.
DOUBLING UPSenior DYLAN SPARKMAN and junior SAMMIE ELEM both have recorded two double-doubles each. Last season Sparkman recorded four doubles.
LEADING THE WAYUIS can have as many as 3-5 different players lead the team in scoring on any different nights. So far, five have topped the team included
Jamall Millison who scored team-bests in four straight contests.
I'll HELP YOU OUTSenior KENTRELL KING is second in the GLVC in assists per game and tops the UIS record book in helpers (302). He now has 300 assists and needs just nine more rebounrds to become become the lone Prairie Star to have 300 in both categories in the Division II era.
COMING UP NEXTThe Prairie Stars close out the year of 2014 with a game against former GLVC member Kentucky Wesleyan on Sunday at 3 p.m.
