2009-10: came off the bench in all 24 games.. led the team with 53 3pt. field goals while shooting .417 (53-127) from beyond the arc... averaged 7.5 points and 2.0 rebounds. 2008-09: played in 22 games, all off the bench... averaged 3.4 points and 0.8 rebounds... hit 19 3pt. field goals and shot .297 (19-64) from beyond the arc... made all eight of his free throw attempts.

Before UIS: played his freshman season at Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2006 where he played in 27 games... made 20 3pt. field goals as a freshman for the Panthers... transferred to Bradley University for the 2007-08 and was a walk-on.

High School:  third team All-State honors from the Associated Press as a senior at Illinois Valley Central... led team to a runner-up finish in the 2006 IHSA Class A State Tournament... shot .438 from behind the 3pt. arc, making 117 three-pointers.

Personal: son of Jim and Lori Thornton... grandfather played basketball at Western Illinois and dad played at Monmouth College (Ill.).
