Zack Jadzak

Zack Jadzak joined the UIS men’s basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Jadzak brings a strong background in NCAA Division III basketball, with a proven record of success in both team performance and recruiting. He most recently served as an assistant coach at Illinois College during the 2024-25 season, helping lead the team to a 17-9 overall record and a No. 3 seed in the conference tournament.

Prior to that, Jadzak spent four seasons as the associate head coach at Buena Vista University in Iowa. During his tenure, the Beavers reached the conference tournament title game in consecutive years and earned the No. 2 seed in both seasons.

He also held a graduate assistant position at North Central College from 2017 to 2019, where the team compiled a 42-15 record and made back-to-back NCAA Division III Tournament appearances. Jadzak began his coaching career with stints at Aurora University (2014-15) as an assistant and recruiting coordinator, and Blackburn University (2015-16) as an assistant coach.

A former student-athlete at Saint Ambrose University, Jadzak brings valuable insight into the student-athlete experience and is known for his ability to connect with players and recruits throughout Illinois and the Midwest.
