Noah Jacobs joined the University of Illinois Springfield men’s basketball coaching staff ahead of the 2025-26 school year after spending two seasons as a graduate assistant and video coordinator at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi under head coach Jim Shaw. While with the Islanders, he coordinated film exchange, performed film breakdown, created graphics, and assisted with on-court player development.
The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi program recorded back-to-back 20-win seasons during his tenure.
A Springfield native, Jacobs began his coaching career at Edwardsville High School. Prior to that, he served as a manager for the Illinois State men’s basketball team under head coach Dan Muller from 2017-20.
Jacobs earned his undergraduate degree from Illinois State University and completed his master’s degree while at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
