A transfer from Lincoln Land Community College … went 5-1 in his career there with seven saves … went 1-1 with one save as a sophomore … struck out 24 batters in 35 1/3 innings … had a 4.58 ERA that year … as a freshman, led the team with six saves, and was also 4-0 on the mound … had a 1.90 ERA in 23 2/3 innings … struck out 20 batters … allowed just 16 hits on the year.
 
High School:
First-team all-conference selection … named to the all-area team … 2017 team MVP … the all-time fielding percentage leader in school history … batted .347 throughout high school … had a 1.98 ERA, and went 8-4 on the mound with one save … helped his team finish fourth in the state tournament in 2017, and win the 2016 regional championship … member of the Illinois Braves club team … also lettered in basketball.
