As a Junior (2013)
Appeared in 21 games including one start at Maryville (Apr. 20) ... Scored nine runs as a pinch-runner ... Was a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen bases.

As a Sophomore (2012)
Appeared in 26 games with five starts … hit first career double at Northern Kentucky (Mar. 11)… also had a hit vs. Central Methodist University (Mar. 14) … swiped two bases…again  selected to the academic All-Great Lakes Valley Conference team … also was named to the UIS Athletic Director’s Academic Honor Roll for both semesters … was Avery Brundage Scholarship winner.

As a Freshman (2011)
As a freshman played in 24 games with 15 starts … had first collegiate RBI against Shawnee State (March 16) … had a season-high two hits against Shawnee State … drew first collegiate walk at West Florida (March 15) … stole first career base at Missouri S&T (April 10) … selected to the academic All-GLVC team … also was named to the UIS Athletic Director’s Academic Honor Roll for both semesters.

High School
Earned All-Central State Eight Conference honors … also earned the team’s Most Valuable Defensive Player and Coach’s Awards … hit .350 with 34 RBI and was 8-for- 9 in stolen bases while recording a .930 fielding percentage … helped SHG to a 90-18 record including conference, regional, and sectional titles … received All-CS8 Conference honors in volleyball and basketball as well … won 10 letters in prep career.

Personal
Born September 27, 1991 ... Daughter of Larry and Gayle Beck … also plays basketball at UIS … Majoring in Biology. 

Why I chose UIS
It is a great university where I could obtain and education and degree in Biology while getting to play softball and basketball.
