2012: Division 2 Athletics Directors Association Academic Achievement Award winner... started a team-high 11 times and pitched in 12 total contests… pitched second career complete game at Maryville (Apr. 17)… struck out a career-high seven batters vs. Culver-Stockton (Mar. 10) and set down six vs. St. Ambrose (Mar. 2)… tossed 48 innings total and ended with a team-high 32 strikeouts… again selected to the academic All-Great Lakes Valley Conference team… also was named to the UIS Athletic Director’s Academic Honor Roll for the fall semester and to the UIS Chancellor’s Academic Honor Roll for the spring semester.

2011: Started five games and saw action in 14 games as a freshman… winning pitcher in the first baseball game ever for UIS (Feb. 25) at Alcorn State… tossed a career-high seven innings at Missouri-St. Louis (April 9)… struck out a season-best five at UMSL… didn't allow a run in three games… didn't give-up a home run in first 11 games pitched… threw over five innings in four games… selected to the academic All-GLVC team… also was named to the UIS Athletic Director’s Academic Honor Roll and made the Dean’s List for both semesters.

High School: First team all-conference at Limestone… played in the McDonald's All-Star game… won two letters in baseball and one in football… member of the National Honor Society… earned Scholar-Athlete Award from the Peoria Journal-Star… member of the school's high honor roll… graduated in the top 10-percent of his class.

Personal: Son of Barry and Michelle Arnett… is an Accounting and Business Administration double major.
