As a Junior (2013)
Saw time in 4 games ... recorded one shot-on-goal in 3-1 victory against Saint Joseph's on October 4 ... played 73 minutes in 4-2 loss to Quincy, Octover 25.

As a Sophomore (2012)
Saw time in 15 games, starting nine ... totaled two goals on the season ... had 12 shots ... scored against Kentuky Wesleyan (Sept. 7) ... fired three shots against Drury (Sept. 21) ... found the back of the net in a 2-1 loss at Lewis (Oct. 14) ... named to the GLVC Academic team.

As a Freshman (2011)
Received the UIS Coach’s Award … started four times as a freshman and saw action in six contests … had first career assist at Indianapolis (Sep. 23) … helped hold opponents to a .181 shot percentage … selected to the academic All-Great Lakes Valley Conference team … also was named to the UIS Coach’s Academic Honor Roll for the fall semester and to the UIS Athletic Director’s Academic Honor Roll for the spring semester.

Club Team
Played for the New Lenox Legacy … helped team to the Nike U17 Championship … also a member of the Chicago Magic Soccer Academy.

High School
Graduated from Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School … earned four letters … named honorable mention all-conference … was also an honor student and won the Academic Achievement Award.

Personal
Born November 2, 1992 ... son of Christopher and Pamela Powell … has a sister, Kelsey ... majoring in criminal justice.

Why I Chose UIS
I chose the University of Illinois Springfield because it offered both the academic and athletic aspects of college that I was looking for.
