2012: Appeared in 34 games with two starts as a freshman… scored 10 times with first run coming vs. Northwest Missouri State (Feb. 25) at the UAM Quad-State Classic… had first career hit against Missouri S&T (Mar. 17)… stole one base against Rockhurst (Mar. 31) and Quincy (Apr. 3)… selected to the academic All-Great Lakes Valley Conference team… also was named to the UIS Chancellor’s Academic Honor Roll for both semesters.

High School: Graduated from Taylorville High School… won four varsity letters from softball… two-time first team All-Central State Eight Conference member… also named second team All-CS8 Conference… selected academic All-CS8 Conference three times… named team captain twice and team MVP twice… was the 2011 Defensive Player of the Year… off the field was the Student Body President and was a Council Executive Board Member… was also an Illinois State Scholar and a four year high honor roll member… won the United States Army National Guard Scholar Athlete Award.

Personal: Daughter of Shawn and Connie Mitchell… majoring in Accounting.
