A transfer from Heartland Community College … in 2017, had a 5-3 record as a primary reliever … had a 3.55 ERA … struck out 51 hitters in 45 2/3 innings … started his playing career at Illinois State … made two relief appearances in 2015.

An all-conference pitcher … won the regional title game on the mound in his senior season … threw a no-hitter as a junior … helped his team win the conference championship in his junior year.
