Came to UIS in January ... went 2-1 in singles play ... posted four victories in doubles play with Grant Fitzsimmons and one with Billy Shinn ... got his first singles win against Prairie State college (March 21), dropping just two sets ... also defeated Millikin (April 9) ... won back-to-back doubles matches with Fitzsimmons against Lewis & Clark CC (March 20) and Calumet College (March 21) ... fought for a victory against Kaskaskia (March 28) with a win in the No. 3 spot.
