UIS Athletics will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Route 66 with the Route 66 Rally Lounge on Saturday, Oct. 10, during Homecoming Week. The hospitality experience will accompany the Prairie Stars volleyball match against Southwest Baptist at TRAC.

The Rally Lounge opens at 1 p.m., one hour before the 2 p.m. match, and will remain open throughout the game. Located in the TRAC arena on the south court behind the team benches, the space offers a 94-foot viewing area along with Route 66-inspired food, desserts and beverages.

The $15 ticket package includes admission to the volleyball match and access to the Route 66 Rally Lounge. Guests will be treated to Chicago-style hot dogs, sliders from the Fuel Up Station, desserts from the Sweet Ride Dessert table and roadside beverages while taking in the match from the hospitality area.

The event follows the 2026 Prairie Stars Hall of Fame Luncheon and is open to all attendees. Tickets must be purchased in advance through the UIS Athletics website or the Hometown Fan App. Season passes and pass list admission are not valid for the Rally Lounge experience.

The Route 66 Rally Lounge is part of Springfield's celebration of the historic highway's centennial and gives fans a chance to pair Homecoming volleyball with a Route 66-inspired hospitality experience.
