"I'm very proud of this group and they way they competed," said Coach Edison. "Gracie and Valentina really led us this week and were stoic and competitive all three rounds against a strong field with a lot of conference opponents. Finishing second and third individually in just our second tournament of the year is a great sign for both of then, We battled through a lot of rain Monday, hit a little hiccup midway through the final round and responded really well to notch the win. This group has worked hard, and I'm excited about where we're headed."
Next up for the Prairie Stars is Grand Valley State's 18th Annual Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invite, Sept. 26-28 in Michigan.
