The Illinois Springfield men's golf team finished 10th out of 16 teams Tuesday at the UIndy Fall Invitational at Broadmoor Country Club.

The Prairie Stars posted a three-round team score of 870, opening with a 287 before shooting 291 in the second round and 292 in the final round.

Cash McDonell tied for 41st with a 219, carding rounds of 73, 75 and 71. Jake Baldin finished tied for 46th with a 220 after rounds of 74, 73 and 73.

Brooks Cluver and Max Anthony both finished tied for 53rd. Cluver recorded a 222 with rounds of 69, 73 and 80, while Anthony shot 74, 73 and 75.

Competing individually, Cal Johnson finished 92nd with a 244 after rounds of 81, 80 and 83.

The Prairie Stars return to action Sept. 28-29 at the Midwest Collegiate in Peru, Indiana, at Rock Hollow Golf Club.
