Illinois Springfield Finishes 10th in GLVC Commissioner’s Cup and All-Sports Trophy Standings

UIS finished 10th in both the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Commissioner's Cup and All-Sports Trophy standings for the 2025-26 season, as released by the league office.

In the Commissioner's Cup race, the Prairie Stars totaled 46.5 points to place 10th among 15 GLVC member institutions. The Cup recognizes performance in league play and postseason competition across select sports, including baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, softball, and men's and women's indoor and outdoor track & field.

The standings for the 2025-26 GLVC Commissioner's Cup are as follows:

UIS also ranked 10th in the GLVC All-Sports Trophy standings with 95.25 points, finishing among 28 total institutions (including associate members). The All-Sports Trophy measures overall program success across all GLVC-sponsored sports, based on regular-season and championship performance.
