The UIS Women's Basketball program is set to host its third annual golf outing this summer, bringing Prairie Star supporters together for a day on the course at Lincoln Greens Golf Course.

The event will take place Friday, Aug. 7 at Lincoln Greens Golf Course, with check-in beginning at noon and a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. Dinner will follow at approximately 6:00 p.m.

Participation includes green fees, cart, tee gifts, a UIS Women's Basketball t-shirt, and dinner. Registration costs are $400 for a team of four, $100 for individual golfers, and $30 for dinner-only attendees. Registration forms are due by July 24.

Located just minutes from the UIS campus, Lincoln Greens Golf Course will once again serve as the host site for the annual fundraiser. 

"We are excited about hosting out third annual golf outing to support our women's basketball program," said head coach Olivia Birt. "Having our student-athletes interact with the people who help provide opportunities for them is one of the highlights of our year. This event allows us to create a championship environment for our student-athletes over the course of the school year."
