UIS women's track and field heads to the Kip and Kirk Outdoor Mule Relays this week for another chance to build momentum during the outdoor season. Field events are scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday and noon on Friday, while running events will start at 11:30 a.m. Thursday and 1:30 p.m. Friday.

In the distance events, Mackenzie Billard, Allison Thompson, and Olivia Thomsen are entered in the 10,000-meter run. The Prairie Stars will also field a strong group in the 5,000-meter run, including Kaleigh Inniss, Josslyn Gaona, and Ava Allison.

In the middle-distance races, Marissa Roggensack will compete in the 1,500 meters alongside Audrey Wagoner, while Kali Gaden is entered in the 800 meters.

In the sprints, Addelyne Nehmelman and Shaylin Ward are entered to debut in the 100-meter dash.
