The UIS men's track and field team will compete at the GLVC Championships from Thursday through Saturday at Southwest Baptist's Plaster Stadium in Bolivar, Missouri.

The meet opens Thursday night with the 1,500-meter prelim at 7:00 p.m., where Chase Cooley will compete, followed by the 10,000-meter final at 8:15 p.m. UIS will have a strong group in the event, including Charlie Borlin, Dom Cantarini, Isaac Cortes, Joey Karlesky, Matt Padilla and Garrett Wagoner.

Action resumes Friday with the 800-meter prelim at 5:40 p.m., featuring a freshman duo of Cooley and River Derby.

Saturday's finals begin with the 1,500 meters at 12:35 p.m., followed by the 800-meter final at 1:45 p.m. The Prairie Stars will again rely on their depth in the 5,000 meters at 3:10 p.m., where Borlin, Cantarini, Cortes, Karlesky and Padilla are all entered.
