Kennedy Osterman delivered a standout final weekend of her collegiate career, earning the season's final women's basketball weekly honor from the Great Lakes Valley Conference after helping Illinois Springfield to a pair of conference wins.
The graduate guard averaged 29.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 3.5 assists in two road victories to close the season. She shot 53 percent (20-of-38) from the field, 63 percent (10-of-16) from three-point range and was a perfect 9-for-9 at the free throw line during the week.
At William Jewell on Thursday, Osterman scored a single-game high 31 points. Her top all-around performance came in the win at Rockhurst, where she recorded 28 points, nine rebounds, five steals and three assists while shooting 9-of-18 from the floor.
In addition to the weekly recognition, Osterman reached 1,000 career points during her final collegiate game.
The weekly award is the first for the Prairie Stars women's basketball program since 2021, when Lauren Ladowski earned the honor.
The Pewaukee, Wis., native finished her Prairie Stars career as one of the team's most productive offensive and defensive contributors during the late-season stretch.
