Rosie Bartletti was named GLVC Pitcher of the Week after a dominant four-game stretch Feb. 6-7. The right-hander went 2-1 while posting a 0.00 earned run average across 14.1 innings, striking out 22 batters and allowing just seven hits and four walks. Bartletti won both of her starts.
She opened the week with a win against Union, tossing 5.0 scoreless innings with five strikeouts. Later that day, she struck out six in 2.2 innings versus Palm Beach Atlantic, holding opponents scoreless aside from a run scored via the international tiebreaker, which is not considered earned. On Saturday, she earned a win against Cedarville with 4.0 innings and seven strikeouts, combining with two teammates for the shutout, before closing the weekend against Shorter with 2.2 scoreless innings and four strikeouts in relief.
To make the week even more impressive, Bartletti was a force at the plate, hitting .500 (7-for-14) with two doubles, a home run, and five stolen bases.
This is Bartletti's fourth career Pitcher of the Week award, previously earning the honor on Feb. 2, 2026, April 28, 2025, and April 8, 2025.
Bartletti and the Prairie Stars return home this weekend, competing indoors at Scheels Sports Park starting Thursday at noon.
