The Illinois Springfield women's tennis team struggled on Sunday, falling 7-0 to Findlay in a tough road matchup against a team that was in the NCAA Tournament last year. The Stars were swept in doubles, though their No. 1 pairing of Ema Norma Bordean and Niamh Grogan put up a fight before dropping a 6-3 decision.

Singles action followed a similar pattern, with UIS unable to find a breakthrough. Cristina Mendoza Romero lost 6-0, 6-2, while Bordean fell by the same score. Grogan dropped her match 6-1, 6-0, and Alisha Deogaonkar was defeated 6-0, 6-0. Jane Carter battled through her match but fell 6-1, 6-0, and Maria Garcia Gama lost 6-2, 6-1.
