The Illinois Springfield men's golf team sits third after two rounds of the 2026 Bradley Coyote Creek Classic at Coyote Creek Golf Club in Bartonville, Ill. The Prairie Stars carded a 301 in the opening round before improving to a 293 in the second round for a 594 total.
UIS trails host Bradley by 18 strokes and Southern Indiana by 13 strokes entering Monday's final round. Lindenwood sits fourth at 597.
Peyton Woods leads the Prairie Stars individually after shooting rounds of 74 and 71 for a 145 total, placing him tied for seventh.
Brooks Cluver is tied for 14th at 149 after rounds of 77 and 72, while
Jake Baldin and
Cash McDonell are both tied for 18th at 150. Baldin shot 74-76, while McDonell carded 76-74.
Max Anthony, competing individually, is 34th with a 160 after rounds of 79 and 81.
UIS will play its final round Monday to close out the Coyote Creek Classic.
