"In tonight's game, we played very well from start to finish," said Coach Shaw. "We were in control of the game, though we were unlucky to only pick up one point tonight. This week has been a little underwhelming in terms of point pickup, but both performances have shown real improvement. We now prepare for a big game on Wednesday."
Illinois Springfield is 1-7-3 overall and 1-4-3 in conference play, and will return home on Wednesday, Oct. 7, to host UIndy during Homecoming Week.
