The UIS women's tennis team opens the spring portion of its year this weekend with a pair of road matches in Ohio, beginning Saturday at Tiffin before continuing on Sunday at Findlay.
UIS will face Tiffin on Saturday in Tiffin, Ohio, with first serve scheduled for 1:00 p.m. CT (2:00 p.m. ET). The Dragons will be officially opening their season on Saturday, as their last competition came in October at the Wayne State Doubles Tournament.
The Prairie Stars then travel to Findlay, Ohio, to take on the Oilers on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. CT (11:00 a.m. ET). The matchup carries a personal connection for UIS assistant coach
Elina Ivanova, as Findlay is her alma mater.
Tiffin enters the weekend having already seen match play this weekend, earning a 7-0 exhibition victory over Ohio Northern on Friday.
Sunday's match against Findlay will be streamed on FloCollege, giving fans the opportunity to follow along live.
Fans can stay tuned to uisprairiestars.com and UIS tennis social media channels for match results and updates throughout the weekend.
