The UIS women's golf team competed in stroke play at the GLVC Championship at Oakwood Country Club in Coal Valley, Ill., on Friday and Saturday. The Prairie Stars started strong and remained among the top four teams after 54 holes, securing a spot in Sunday's medal/match play semifinals. The Prairie Stars were led by All-GLVC athlete

Round One
- UIS had a solid start on Friday morning, with Elaine Grant staying in the top three, shooting a one-over 72.
- Sara Prieto and Ira Joshi both shot nine-over 80s, tying for 22nd.
- Lia Rody scarded an 82 (T31), while Isabelle Segal posted a 92 (T65).
- UIS recorded a team total of 314, trailing UMSL (305) and UIndy (309), but staying in contention, just one stroke ahead of Drury and four strokes ahead of Maryville.
Round Two
- In the second round, UIS maintained third place, with Elaine Grant taking sole possession of first place after a 74-stroke round.
- Lia Rody made a key improvement with a clutch 78, moving into a tie for 19th
- Sara Prieto shot an 83, Ira Joshi posted a score of 86, and Isabelle Segal improved with an 82.
- UIS shot 317, bringing its total score to 631, trailing UMSL (611) and UIndy (621). UIS was 10 strokes behind UIndy and 20 strokes behind UMSL, while maintaining a five-stroke lead over Drury. Maryville trailed further back with a total of 643, signaling a gap in the team standings.
Round Three
- The third round proved challenging for UIS, as the team shot 331, with most players posting scores in the mid-80s. Elaine Grant shot an 81 but still secured an automatic All-GLVC selection by finishing in fourth with a total of 227 strokes over 54 holes of stroke play.
- Lia Rody carded an 83, Sara Prieto 84, Ira Joshi 85, and Isabelle Segal 83.
- UIS finished with a team total of 962, just one stroke ahead of Maryville (963), securing the No. 4 seed for the medal/match play semifinals.
