The Illinois Springfield women's tennis team will travel to Romeoville, Ill., on Saturday for a noon match against the Lewis Flyers. The contest marks the midpoint of the Prairie Stars' GLVC schedule.

Illinois Springfield (4-7, 0-2 GLVC)
UIS dropped its first two conference matchups last weekend, falling 6-1 to UMSL and 5-2 to Maryville. Carmen Llopis Fabra earned a singles win in both matches and is off to a 2-0 start in GLVC play. Cristina Mendoza Romero added a point for UIS against Maryville in the No. 5 singles position.

Llopis Fabra was recognized in the latest ITA Division II Singles Rankings, coming in at No. 64—her first national ranking of the year.

Lewis (5-9, 0-2 GLVC)
Lewis is also seeking its first league win after close 4-3 losses to both Maryville and UMSL last weekend.
