The UIS men's golf team will wrap up its fall season this weekend at the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational, hosted at The Pearl Club in Owensboro, Ky. The two-day event will take place Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 25-26, with live scoring available through Clippd.

The UIS lineup will feature Peyton Woods, Vilgot Arleback, Jake Baldin, Sacha Lamraski, Julien Babineau, and Daniel Edwards.

The Prairie Stars enter the tournament coming off a strong showing earlier this week at the Bearcat Dual Gender, where they finished second in a competitive field at Far Oaks Golf Club in Caseyville, Ill. UIS posted rounds of 295, 302, and 296 for a 54-hole total of 893, finishing just two strokes behind Quincy (891) and ahead of Rockhurst (896).

Vilgot Arleback led the team with a sixth-place finish after rounds of 76, 74, and 73 for a 223 total. Jake Baldin and Sacha Lamraski each tied for 13th with scores of 225, while Julien Babineau and Peyton Woods both tied for 20th. UIS also received solid efforts from Daniel Edwards, Sahachat Noosong, and Charlie Prins in individual play.

With another strong result at McKendree's event, the Prairie Stars look to carry their momentum to Owensboro and close the fall portion of their schedule on a high note.
