The University of Illinois Springfield Athletics Department has announced that tickets are now on sale for the 2025-26 men's and women's basketball seasons. The Prairie Stars are set to open play in November at The Recreation and Athletic Center (TRAC), with plenty of home action to look forward to.
Fans can now purchase both season passes and single-game tickets to catch all the action at TRAC. Single-game tickets are priced at $10 for general admission, $5 for youth ages 5–17, and $15 for reserved chairback seating.
For those planning to attend multiple games, season passes offer the best value — including reserved chairback season tickets for $125, a faculty and staff season pass for $75, and a general admission season pass for $50. For a limited time, season pass holders can upgrade to a printed pass for just $5 — a convenient card that can be scanned at the gate for entry to every game all season long.
The UIS men's basketball team will host its home opener on Nov. 18 against Judson University at 7:00 p.m., while the women's team will take the court for the first time at home on Nov. 22 against Ferris State at 1:00 p.m. The first conference doubleheader of the season is scheduled for Dec. 1, when the Prairie Stars welcome William Jewell to TRAC.
Admission is free for youth under 5, UIS students with a valid Event Pass, and UIS faculty and staff with a valid Event Pass (UIS Connection or Corq).
Fans are encouraged to secure their seats early and support the Prairie Stars throughout an exciting season of basketball at TRAC.
