This week, UIS Volleyball hits the road, soccer has a bye before returning home, golf competes early in the week, and cross country opens postseason action. Stay tuned for updates and results throughout the week — or sign up for email updates about your favorite teams!

Monday, Oct. 20
All Day – Men's Golf at Bearcat Dual Gender
UIS doesn't go far to start this week, heading to Caseyville, Ill. for McKendree's Bearcat Dual Gender at Far Oaks Golf Club. The Prairie Stars are past the midpoint of the fall season and will face a field made up mostly of GLVC opponents.

All Day – Women's Golf at Bearcat Dual Gender
The women's golf team plays its fall season finale at Far Oaks Golf Club in Caseyville, Ill. Both UIS programs are in action at the two-day tournament on Monday and Tuesday.

Tuesday, Oct. 21
All Day – Men's Golf at Bearcat Dual Gender
UIS continues play and wraps up the event with the final two rounds of competition.

All Day – Women's Golf at Bearcat Dual Gender
UIS closes out its fall schedule with the final two rounds at the Bearcat Dual Gender.

Friday, Oct. 24
All Day – Baseball vs. Navy & Gold World Series (HOME)
The UIS baseball team begins its annual Navy & Gold World Series this Friday. The intrasquad series serves as the team's final fall competition and features multiple games throughout the weekend.

6:00 p.m. – Volleyball at Southwest Baptist
UIS (9-10) returns to GLVC play after going 2-1 at the Midwest Regional Crossover. The Prairie Stars will meet Southwest Baptist (8-12, 1-4 GLVC), which went 3-0 at the same tournament and has won four straight outside of league play. UIS leads the all-time series 5-2.

Saturday, Oct. 25
All Day – Baseball vs. Navy & Gold World Series (HOME)
The intrasquad series continues on Saturday.

All Day – Men's Golf at Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational
UIS heads to Owensboro, Ky. for the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational, the team's final tournament of the fall. The 54-hole event takes place over the weekend, marking a quick turnaround after the Bearcat Dual Gender.

All Day – Men's Cross Country at GLVC Championship
UIS begins the postseason at the GLVC Championship, hosted at the Lewis Cross Country Course in Romeoville, Ill. The Prairie Stars finished third at last year's meet and entered this season ranked No. 3 in the GLVC preseason poll. They'll return to a course they raced on two weeks ago and look to solidify position among the league's top teams.

All Day – Women's Cross Country at GLVC Championship
The Prairie Stars open postseason action at the GLVC Championship in Romeoville, Ill. UIS finished fourth last season and was ranked No. 3 in the GLVC preseason poll. The team will compete at the home site of the reigning champions, a course they raced earlier this month at the Lewis Crossover. UIS aims to build on a strong regular season and push toward the top of the conference standings.

3:00 p.m. – Volleyball at Drury
UIS closes out its weekend road trip with a Saturday afternoon match against Drury. The Panthers (12-7, 3-2 GLVC) went 2-1 at the Midwest Regional Crossover, earning wins over Thomas More and Northwood. Before hosting UIS, Drury will play Missouri Southern and Quincy earlier in the week. The Panthers lead the all-time series 14-5.

Sunday, Oct. 26
All Day – Baseball vs. Navy & Gold World Series (HOME)
Final day of the fall intrasquad series at UIS Baseball Field.

All Day – Men's Golf at Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational
UIS concludes the tournament and closes its fall season.

12:00 p.m. – Women's Soccer vs. Indianapolis (HOME)
UIS (3-8-3, 2-7-2 GLVC) hosts Indianapolis (1-8-4, 1-7-3 GLVC) in its final home game of the season. The Prairie Stars dropped two close matches over the weekend, both by one goal, against Maryville and McKendree. UIndy fell to UMSL and Maryville last week and has been held scoreless over its last three matches. The Greyhounds lead the all-time series 10-5. This match is also Senior Salute, celebrating the UIS senior class.
Halloween theme – costumes encouraged!

2:30 p.m. – Men's Soccer vs. Indianapolis (HOME)
UIS (2-9-3, 1-8-2 GLVC) faces Indianapolis (8-3-3, 6-3-2) in its final home match of the season. The Prairie Stars are coming off a pair of one-goal losses to Maryville and McKendree, while UIndy split its weekend with a 3-2 loss to UMSL and a 5-2 win over Maryville. The match also serves as Senior Salute, honoring the UIS soccer senior class.
Fans are encouraged to come in costume for the Halloween-themed afternoon.
