Box Score The UIS men's soccer team improved to 3-1-2 overall and 3-0 in GLVC play after defeating Upper Iowa by a score of 4-0 on Friday afternoon. The Prairie Stars have recorded three shutouts in three GLVC soccer games.

A well-placed free kick by Max Tweddle would be headed into the back of the net by Adrian Adames in the 22nd minute to put UIS on the board.

Noah Brill made it a 2-0 game in the first half, scoring his first goal as a Prairie Star off of a Federico D'Andrea assist. The two attempted a similar play from the right side just minutes later that would be stopped by the Peacock's goalkeeper. Sergio Crescenzi, approaching the goal from the left, was able to tap it in for his first goal.

UIS led 11-1 in shots upon the end of the first half.

Upper Iowa started the second half with some fire, immediately attempting a shot that resulted in a miss. The Peacocks would come up fruitless after two corner kicks and two throw-ins in the first several minutes.

Upper Iowa increased to over 40% possession late in the match, resulting in two hard-earned saves for Andrea Scapolo.

Or Levinstein continued his offensive momentum, striking in the final ten minutes with the assist going to Federico D'Andrea once again. Noah Brill made an attempt at a second goal but was called offsides.

The Prairie Stars have scored four goals in two consecutive games as they pick up their third consecutive GLVC win. UIS will meet the Truman State Bulldogs on Sunday at noon in Kirksville, Mo. in hopes of earning another in-conference victory
