UIS men's soccer sophomore forward Robin Lemke Bergseth has been named to the All-GLVC Third Team for the 2026 season, as announced by the league office on Wednesday. This marks his second career All-Conference selection after earning Second Team honors and GLVC Freshman of the Year recognition last season.

Bergseth was a consistent presence in the Prairie Stars' attack, starting all 17 games and playing nearly 80 minutes per game. He finished second on the team with six goals and added one assist for a total of 13 points.

His six goals ranked 10th in the GLVC, while he also finished among the conference's top 10 in both shots and shots on goal.

In addition to Bergseth's All-Conference selection, UIS goalkeeper Kevin Kardel was named a GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award honoree. He is one of 15 men's soccer student-athletes across the conference selected for the honor.

Each UIS team in every sport selects one James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award honoree. All UIS honorees across the athletic department will be considered at the conclusion of the academic year, when the university selects its two school-level James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award winners.
