The UIS track and field program finished a weekend full of competition at the Millikin Alumni Invitational in Decatur, Ill. on Saturday. Women's track and field scored 23 points to finish 8th. Matt Moler and Gabe Martinez won their respective events to lead the men's team to sixth place.

Matt Moler ran 1:58.38 in the men's 800m to take first place while Gabe Martinez was the 1500m champion in 4:19.25. 

Hayley Goebel was the top scorer for women's track and field by finishing in the top-8 in three throwing events. Goebel finished 3rd in the discus throw with a mark of 30.73m.
