The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team will face the Truman State Bulldogs in Kirksville, Mo. on Thursday.

UIS picked up a win in their only game last weekend when they defeated the Lewis Flyers 88-85 in overtime. The Prairie Stars are sixth in the current GLVC standings with their 8-6 conference record. 

Truman State took down the nationally ranked Missouri-St. Louis Tritons on Jan. 28, then fell in their next two conference matchups. The Bulldogs are 10-13 overall, and 5-10 in the GLVC. 

The Prairie Stars are just 2-9 against Truman State in program history, but are in position for a season sweep after winning by 20 points in their December matchup.
