The No. 10 University of Illinois Springfield baseball team extended their win streak to four games when they defeated Missouri Western by a score of 8-2 on Sunday. 

Ivan Dahlberg had two hits, two runs, and three RBI, and was walked once in three at bats. Dahlberg hit one of two home runs by the Prairie Stars, the other was by Peyton Dillingham in the fourth inning. Asher Bradd added three hits, two runs, and an RBI in his five at-bats. 

Connor McKenna (1-1) picked up his first win of the season with nine strikeouts in five innings. The UIS pitching staff held MWSU to a total of three hits.

UIS won three-of-three at the Missouri Southern Invitational over the weekend, including a 10-8 win over No. 21 Missouri Southern. The Prairie Stars will return to Springfield to play their home opener on Friday, Feb. 24 versus Bemidji State.
