Women’s Golf Takes 3rd at Bill Crabtree Invitational

UIS women's golf competed at Kentucky Wesleyan's Bill Crabtree Invitational on Sunday and Monday, finishing third as a team with a 36-hole score of 622.

Tournament Summary

Freshman Lillian Gottman finished T9 with rounds of 75, 79 (154). Gottman led the field in par 5 scoring (4.38, -5)
UIS was the best team at the tournament over par 4s (4.46, +46) and par 5s (5.03, +1)
The team had 17 birdies, Lillian Gottman and Arya Gadekar added five apiece
All five UIS golfers finished in the top 41 in a field of 92 competitors
Ferris State took the team title while Tiffin's Lisa Marie Schumacher was the individual champion
